THEME: Our theme for this issue is “ERASE/DISCLOSE,” so we are particularly interested in work that, in its formal choices and/or its subject matter, deals with the polarity of erasure and disclosure in art, in politics, and/or in other arenas of life (at home, in the office…). The theme is relatively open to your interpretation, but broadly speaking we are interested in what do we choose to show, what stays hidden, and what pressures influence our decisions to speak or to stay silent.

FOCUS ON LOCAL WRITERS: We are especially interested in works which come from writers who call the Twin Cities home. We will also consider works from writers who have at any time, called Minnesota home. Regional writers (Wisconsin and North Dakota) will also be considered.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:

POETRY: 3-5 poems uploaded in a single file. One submission per reading period.

FICTION AND NONFICTION: Max. 6,000 words. Uploaded in one file. One submission per reading period.

You may submit in more than one genre in a single reading period.
